Yoga for Beginners Weekend
This weekend retreat is an ideal introduction for beginners or for practitioners who are new to Sivananda Yoga. You will experience an introduction to yoga asanas, breathing exercises, meditation, mantra chanting and yoga philosophy. The 5 points of Yoga will be introduced. You will be immersed in the daily routine of yoga and will enjoy wholesome vegetarian meals. You will leave rested and refreshed, with basic knowledge of how to continue to practice at home.

Yoga Beginners Course

Our Yoga Beginners Course is ideal for newcomers to Yoga or more seasoned practitioners who want to learn more about Sivananda Yoga. This course gives you the full yoga immersion, progressively introducing:

Yoga Immersion
You will be immersed in the daily routine of yoga and will experience wholesome vegetarian meals, leaving rested, refreshed and recharged.
Yoga at Home
You will gain basic knowledge of how to continue to practice yoga at home. You will begin to develop a lifestyle conducive to physical, mental, and spiritual health and well-being.

Swami Narayanananda, who was born in London, England, has been a teacher of Yoga and meditation in the International Sivananda Yoga vedanta Centers since 1999. He has served in the ashrams in California and New York, also as director of the centers in New York and Chicago. He is a regular teacher for our Teacher Training and Advanced Teacher training courses in the USA, India and Vietnam. Swami Narayanananda has a compassionate and accessible teaching style firmly based in his own practice and in the study of scripture.
Saraswati graduated from International Sivananda Yoga teacher training course 2010 in Vietnam. She is also a graduate of the, “Yoga Psychology”, “Ayurveda and Yoga Wellness” course and “Ayuvedic massage therapist”. She was staff at Sivananda Yoga Vedanta center in Ho Chi Minh from 2010 – 2013. In 2014 she assumed the responsibility of directing the Sivananda Yoga Centre in Dalat City and in 2017 she is assistant director of the new Sivananda Ashram in Dalat. She enjoys teaching beginner courses, yoga for kids along with ayurveda and healing.
