A 100-hour foundation course in Ayurveda, taught at the Sivananda ashram in Da Lat by Ayurveda practitioners from Vaidyagrama Healing Village in India, with a locally based teaching team.

The course covers Ayurveda from its founding principles through to how they are applied in daily life. It is built for two kinds of participant: those studying for their own understanding and health, and those who intend to pass the material on within their own community.

What is covered

  • The foundational principles of classical Ayurveda
  • How those principles apply to daily routine, diet and well-being
  • The relationship between Ayurvedic practice and yoga practice
  • Practical tools intended to be usable after the course ends

Who teaches it

Vaidyagrama is an Ayurveda healing village near Coimbatore in South India, founded around the stated aim of "Authentic Ayurveda for Universal Well-being". It works as both a treatment centre and a teaching institution, and has been a long-standing partner of Sivananda Yoga Vietnam.

Certification

Participants who complete the course receive a certificate issued by Sivananda Yoga Vietnam.

Living at the ashram
