Helpful Reminder
Satsang, Daily Practice & Quiet Hours
The Yoga Resort & Training Center is an ashram dedicated to the practice of classical yoga. To be here is to share in that practice, honoring both your own inner discipline and the space of others. In order to receive the full benefit of the experience, all guests are expected to attend both morning and evening satsang and at least one yoga class each day.
Silence is observed from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am to support restful sleep and a calm, focused mind for morning practice. We encourage you to attune to the natural peace of the environment and the rhythm of ashram life.
To preserve this atmosphere, please keep mobile phones on silent or airplane mode, and ensure that alarms and notification sounds are turned off when outside your room. Minimizing phone use is strongly recommended.

Practices of Mindful Living
Ashram Etiquette
As a yoga ashram and spiritual community, we ask all guests and visitors to maintain a respectful and modest atmosphere. Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is recommended for warm days and cool evenings. Attire that covers the shoulders and knees is appreciated, especially during satsang. You may also wish to bring a shawl or wrap. Please check the local weather forecast to help with your planning.
The Sivananda Yoga Resort & Training Center is a space dedicated to inner focus, self-awareness, and harmonious relationships. Guests are expected to conduct themselves with respect and integrity at all times. Inappropriate or disruptive behavior, including any form of harassment, is not accepted. We ask all guests and residents to follow the ethical guidelines of yoga.
Ashram guidelines play an essential role in maintaining a pure and supportive environment—one that fosters clarity, harmony, and the inner stillness needed for the practice of yoga and meditation.
