Nutrition and Yoga Weekend Retreat
This weekend program will equip you with the basic foundation theory and practice for proper diet and healthy lifestyle, with the guidance of health coach Nirmala (Tran Lan Huong) and Sivananda Yoga Resort and Training Center. During the program you will have the experience of healthy, traditional, classical Yoga Life, following a carefully designed schedule to help you increase your capacity to detoxify and heal both body and mind.
You will learn about the basic principles of good nutrition and health, and how to prepare well-balanced vegetarian meals. While living in the pure, natural environment of the Yoga Resort you will experience the integrated classical practices of Yoga and meditation for good health and rejuvenation. You will leave equipped with knowledge and techniques that can be applied in daily life.
Please note that classes given by Nirmala will be taught in Vietnamese, with English translation. Other classes will be taught in English with Vietnamese translation,

Day 1
12pm Check-in
1pm Group warm-up. Introduction to the program
2pm Session 1: Yoga philosophy and practice, 4 path and 5 points of Yoga
4pm Yoga Class

7:30pm Satsang – Silent meditation, Chanting. Session 2: Health Strategy & Smart Eating 1
Day 2
6am Satsang – Silent meditation, Chanting Session 3: Smart Eating 2. The truth about dairy, soy, GMO foods
7:30am Breakfast
8:00am Yoga Class
10:00am Lunch
11:00am Karma Yoga
12:00pm Break
12:30pm Session 4: Smart eating 3. Weight control. Anti-inflammation diet & whole food plant based diet for detoxification.
2:00pm Session 5: Cooking class – how to prepare a wholefood plant-based meal
4:00pm Yoga asana class
6:00pm Dinner
7:30pm Satsang – Silent meditation, Chanting. Session 6: Life balance and stress control
Day 3
6:00am Satsang – Sunrise meditation walk, chanting. Session 7: Physical & Mental detox
7:30am Breakfast
8:00am Yoga class
10:00am Session 8: Mental detoxification Closing
11:00am Lunch
12:00pm Check-out

Arrival and Departure
Arrival: Check-in time is between 12:00pm Friday.
Departure: The course will finish at 12:00pm on Sunday. Please check-out of your room by 12:00pm.
What to Bring
In-door slippers, loose comfortable clothes, notebooks, meditation shawl or blanket, yoga mat, flashlight.
