Teachers Training Course Reunion
During this meeting, we will re-examine:
– Controlling the postures while holding, adjusting and coming out of the postures.
– Counter postures and relaxation between the Asanas.
– Understanding and recognizing technical limitations and errors
– Strengthening the movement of the spine and joints
– The physical, intellectual and spiritual benefits of Asanas
– The importance of the flow of energy (Prana) in the body
– Basic to Advanced- How to correct/improve asana practice
– Understanding the anatomy of backward and forward bends
– Pranayama- its importance, how to practice and teach, how to deepen your personal practice
– Yoga for limited mobility/disabled, prenatal and elderly
– Yamas/Niyamas- Re-introduce yourself to the basic do’s and dont’s of Sadhana
– Q and A: Advice on Sadhana and its purpose
– Go deeper in your personal practice
– Focus on how to correct each student
– Challenge yourself with advanced variations
– Meditative classes with longer holding of posture
– Focus on breathing while practicing asanas and deep relaxation.

This meeting is open to graduates of the Sivananda Yoga Teacher’s Training Course.

Daily Schedule
6:00am – Satsang
8:00am – Yoga Asana Class
10:00am – Brunch
11:00am – Karma Yoga
1:00pm – 3:00pm –Special Asana Workshop/Lecture
4:00pm-6:00pm – Asana practice
6:00pm – Dinner
7:30pm – Satsang
Come any time of the year for a yoga vacation.
Arrival and Departure
Arrival: Check-in time is between 12:00 – 2:00pm Friday. Please do not arrive any later than 7:00 pm.
Departure: The course will finish at 12:00pm. Please check-out of your room by 12:00pm. Please stay on for your final workshop before departing.
What to Bring
In-door slippers, loose comfortable clothes, notebooks, meditation shawl or blanket, yoga mat, flashlight.
All books and materials are available in our boutique.
