Description

Modern life is too rushed, many pressures make us forget the meaning of life, not connect with ourselves. We make the wrong choise, and as a result, create stress and fall into self-destructive habits (smoking, drinking, drug addiction), react negatively to the challenges of life. such as anger, fear, anxiety, worry, physical and mental illness. Yoga teaches us how to transfer energy to all organs and how to raise vibration in the body through the practice of asanas, pranayama, relaxation, vegetarianism, positive thinking, meditation. In a week of course, you will be purifying your body to absorb the prana of the universe, the energy that is always there to support you and your life.

Curriculum

  •   Proper Exercise - Twelve Basic Asanas, with Variations
  •   Proper Breathing - Pranayama – yogic breathing exercises
  •   Proper Relaxation - Savasana
  •   Proper Diet - Yogic vegetarian diet
  •   Positive Thinking and Meditation

  • 6-7:30am...........................Satsang: Silent meditation, chanting, and lecture
  • 8-10am.........................Yoga Class
  • 10am............................Vegetarian Brunch
  • 11am............................Karma Yoga 
  • 1-3pm..........................Workshop
  • 4-6pm..........................Yoga Class
  • 6pm..............................Vegetarian Dinner
  • 8-10pm........................Satsang: Silent meditation, chanting, and lecture

Pre-requisite

Everybody sincerely wants to learn about classical Yoga, relieve the tension and find peace.

What to Bring

In-door slippers, loose comfortable clothes, notebooks, meditation shawl or blanket, yoga mat, flashlight.  All books and materials are available in our boutique.

Teachers:

Swami Pranavananda

Swami Pranavananda, hails from the USA, and has been a Yoga and Meditation teacher since 1995 in the US and abroad.  He teaches mainly the Hatha Yoga and Anatomy sections for the TTC courses.  He was the director of the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers in Los Angeles, CA and San Francisco, CA for a few years.  Currently he is serving in Vietnam teaching in the Hochiminh center.  He enjoys taking classes to learn Vietnamese.
