Learn the basics of yoga from scratch systematically and safely in a small, friendly and relaxed setting with one of our Yoga Courses for Beginners. Or, take a course to renew your practice after some time away or to strengthen the foundation of your existing practice. Courses are 4 weeks, with students meeting twice a week for classes of 90 minutes each. See below for dates and times.

Not sure if you are ready to enroll? Join us for a Free Trial Yoga Class, Sundays at 10:00-11:30 a.m & 5:00-6:30 p.m on April 3. Designed for beginners, it’s a great way to meet our teachers and see our Centre. No previous yoga experience necessary.

Yoga 1 - Date and Time

In Yoga 1, you will be introduced to the 5 Points of Yoga for vibrant health, 12 basic yoga postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), sun salutations (surya namaskar), relaxation exercises, introduction to proper diet, positive thinking and meditation. No previous yoga experience necessary.

All courses are three-weeks, with students meeting twice a week for classes of 90 minutes each.

Cost: $38 – Non-members / $28 – Members

Yoga practice & Philosophy

Practical hints: Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to class. It is recommended not to eat one hour before class. We provide yoga mat for the class. Wear comfortable clothing. ( Available at the Boutique also)
